my go-to brownies

my favorite recipe for a healthier brownie

makes about 9 brownies

•1 cup (choose 1) peanut butter, applesauce, pumpkin, banana

•1/3 cup coconut sugar (heaping)

•1/4 cup maple syrup 

•1 cup whole wheat flour

•1/2 cup melted vegan butter/ coconut oil

•1/4 cup cocoa powder

•2 eggs

•1/2 cup chocolate chips

•2 tsp vanilla

•1/2 tsp baking powder

•1/4 tsp salt

steps

1. combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and spices in a medium bowl and set aside. 

2. next combine the cup of either peanut butter, banana, applesauce, or pumpkin, and maple syrup, coconut sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a small bowl then whisk until smooth.

3. mix wet ingredients into dry and fold in chocolate chips. 

4. bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
